At Hunters Lodge we have been offering a professional dog grooming service to dogs across Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire for many years. If your dog is staying with us for his holidays we can groom him at the end of his stay.

 

Bath and Groom

 

All breeds benefit from being professionally groomed, whether or not one of the traditionally trimmed breeds. A bath with one of our range of specialist shampoos, blow dry, ears cleaned and plucked, stray hairs trimmed and nails and anal glands attended to smartens any breed.

Clipping and Stripping

 

Trimmed dogs can be clipped to their traditional finish, or like the Bichon and Yorkie (below) given a pretty pet trim. Terriers can be hand-stripped, like the Westie, right to keep the coat looking smart and correctly textured, or clipped if preferred.

 

A professional clip starts at just £30 and a handstrip from just £35.

 

Nails and Teeth

 

Nail clipping is just £5 and teeth scaling £6; scaling helps reduce bad breath and reduces the risk of gum disease. We are generally able to clip your dog's nails while you wait, but it is advisable to phone us first to check - just call  us on 01604 870330.
